Ecohardwood recently had the honour of joining Katie Malik and her team in celebrating the 10th anniversary of her award-winning interior design studio. This milestone marks a decade of creativity, innovation, and impeccable design, providing an excellent opportunity to reflect on the various wood flooring installation projects in England, that we have completed together.

Natural Wood Floors for Kitchen and Kid’s Room

One standout project was a charming family home in Cambridge, where we installed oak flooring and oak stairs throughout the entire house, including the kitchen, living room, and kids' rooms. Oak flooring is perfect as it doesn’t harbour allergens or dust, is easy to clean and maintain, and is natural and non-toxic.

Sophisticated Reading Room with Oak Herringbone

In another collaboration, we provided herringbone wood floors in a rich Walnut colour for a sophisticated reading room. The intricate herringbone pattern added a touch of luxury and elegance, creating an inviting space for relaxation and reflection. It also complemented the warmth and cosiness of the fireplace.

Nature-Inspired Bathroom Featuring Oak Floors

Our engineered wood floors, designed for maximum stability and durability, were featured in a unique bathroom project. Katie transformed the space into a tranquil, nature-inspired sanctuary, demonstrating that wood flooring can thrive in environments with varying temperatures and humidity. We chose Ecohardwood having seen their engineered oak floors (Tobacco) in a friend's house. We found Irmantas a pleasure to deal with. We love the look and finish of the product and chose it in part because it works well with our underfloor heating. There were a few spillages by our builders but the Ecohardwood team have been very helpful in helping our builders to remedy these mistakes. Irmantas has remained very reassuring and calm! We fully recommend the product having lived in our house now for a few months. If I did it again I might use Ecohardwood to do the installation.

We recently purchased Ecohardwood engineered oak wood flooring in the Tobacco colour and we couldn’t be happier. The quality is excellent – well made, with a beautiful natural finish. We installed it throughout the whole house and it has completely changed the look and feel of the space, giving it a warm, modern and very natural feel. We did apply a premium hardwax oil, which enhanced the tone and added extra protection. We are extremely happy with our choice and would definitely recommend this floor to anyone looking for great quality and a timeless look.
